NIGERIA: Again Former Nigerian Presidents Say Buhari Lacks Capacity, Rally Atiku For The 2019 Presidency

LONDON UK. An observation of the political situation around the country, just ahead of the 2019 general elections, insinuates that most of the past Presidents of Nigeria still alive, have abandoned President Muhammadu Buhari, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 2019 elections, while directly and in some cases, indirectly declaring support for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr Goodluck Jonathan have already pledged and started to show great support for the PDP Candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 general elections.

Also former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, had publicly rejected President Muhammadu Buhari for the 2019 Presidency, in an open letter, in which he advised the President not to seek a second term in office, citing very bad governance in general.

The former President, had also publicly recently endorsed Atiku Abubakar, and on many occassions since explained his reasons why to the shock of many.

Elsewhere, former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, had also written a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, condemning his government, and like Olusegun Obasanjo, advising the President not to seek re-election in 2019.

Political pundits expect the former Head of State to in some way, play a major role in the Atiku 2019 Presidential Campaign, behind the scene.

With most of the country’s past Leaders totally against a Buhari Presidency in 2019, and fully in support of an Atiku Presidency, with the hope to restore the country’s lost glory and alleviate the current sufferings of the people, many political Observers wonder whose endorsements President Muhammadu Buhari would be relying on, for success at the 2019 polls.
