RAILWAY: Chaos at Birmingham Station As Commuter Killed By Train

BIRMINGHAM UK. An incident at Adderley Park railway station on West Coast Mainline causing disruption to trains from Birmingham to Coventry and a person has died after being struck by a train in Birmingham.

Paramedics are currently at the scene of the incident at Adderley Park railway station in Bordesley Green Road.

A second person is also reported to have been struck by a train and suffered serious injuries.

National Rail has revealed that all lines between Coventry Railway Station and Birmingham New Street have been blocked as a result of the incident.

National Rail has said that there is “no estimate as to when the line will reopen”, but disruption is expected until at least 4pm yesterday (January 16).
